Second Opinion is a free local-search visibility audit, operated by Panoptic Digital Architecture, LLC. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, and who we share it with. The short version: we only look at what is already public, we do not sell your data, and we never see your card.
Who we are
Second Opinion is a product of Panoptic Digital Architecture, LLC. If you have any question about your data, email us at support@panoptic360.com.
What we collect
- The website address you submit. We fetch and analyze what is publicly visible at that address.
- A one-way hash of your IP address. We store a salted, irreversible hash, never your raw IP, and use it only to enforce free-tier limits and prevent abuse.
- Your email address, only if you give it to us. That means subscribing to our newsletter or purchasing a report. We do not require an account.
- The audit results we generate about the site you submitted, all derived from publicly available information.
- Limited product events. We record coarse actions such as an audit starting or completing, a report being saved or shared, or a checkout or help link being clicked. These event rows do not contain the website address, report contents, email address, or raw IP address.
- Payment details: we never see them. Purchases are handled entirely by Stripe. Your card number never touches our servers.
How we use it
- To run your audit and deliver your report.
- To enforce the free-tier daily limits and keep the service available.
- To understand whether audits finish reliably and where the report experience can be improved.
- To send our newsletter, if you opted in, and to deliver your report and receipt if you purchased.
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We rely on a small set of service providers to run the audit and the business. Each receives only what it needs:
- Cloudflare, for hosting and for Turnstile, the anti-bot check on our form.
- Google (Places and PageSpeed Insights), to gather public information about the site you submitted.
- Perplexity, OpenAI, Google, and Anthropic, for the AI-visibility check. We send them the business type and city being checked, which is public business information, not your personal data.
- Stripe, to process the one-time $5 payment.
- Beehiiv, to deliver our newsletter, if you subscribe.
Cookies and local storage
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. Product events use one-time random identifiers and are not used to fingerprint your browser. After you start a purchase, we store a single item in your browser's local storage (the id of the audit you are buying) so we can pick your report back up when you return. You can clear it any time through your browser.
How long we keep it
We keep product-event records for 90 days, then delete them. We keep your audit record so that your report and its shareable link keep working. If you want your data deleted, email support@panoptic360.com and we will take care of it.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the data we hold about you, and you can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email. For anything else, email support@panoptic360.com.
Children
Second Opinion is a tool for businesses and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above.
